Boarding was mayhem. Late boarding by 15 minutes because of lack of staff (missing 1 flight attendant. We had to wait for an arrival of another plane before we could board). Flight was a little rough, but cannot blame on airlines.

Multiple delays and not straight answer from the United team

leg space better than expected. two washrooms for one plane isn't enough.

Easy to board. Flight was super crowded though so I didn't sleep well on that cross country red-eye flight. The aisles seem ot have gotten narrower and the seat smaller whn luggage and people are getting bigger so it would be AWESOME to have more space and breathing room in general ;)

I don’t understand the purpose of the orange “priority” tag on my bag. This tagged, my bag is last or near to the last bag to come down the carousel at IAH.

Food choices were very limited. Taste of the dishes was average.

Very punctual. Comfortable plane and great entertainment options. The staff was very nice.

Boarding always seems a bit chaotic. Seat spacing could leave more for leg room.

The planes are so dirty! Food crumbs and finger print smudges, Dust over the vents and carpet stains. It’s disgusting.

There was no USB plug in my section of the plane. So I could not charge my phone. Also, there was no screen to watch movie or anything like that. Wish I had known that in advance, I would’ve brought my iPad.

I think overall both Air Canada and Air New Zealand did a good job the their flights. It is nice to have movies, music, podcasts etc to watch for the long flights. Just wish the seats were wider and had a foot rest to change my leg positions during the trips.

I’m writing to share my deep frustration with a recent experience, which I feel reflects a troubling trend in the airline industry—one where customer care often takes a backseat to profit maximization. First, I do want to acknowledge a positive aspect: I appreciated that your team accommodated a seat change due to my medical needs without charging an additional fee. This gesture made a genuine difference during my trip, and I’m thankful for that. That said, the overall experience left me extremely disappointed. The ticket I purchased for myself and a companion turned out to be “basic”—a fare category I now understand to be non-refundable and non-transferable. Unfortunately, my travel companion was involved in a car accident and could not fly. Not only was I unable to receive any kind of reimbursement, but I also couldn't transfer the ticket to someone else, despite the flight being overbooked by three passengers. This inflexibility felt exploitative. To add to the frustration, I had to shoulder additional unexpected expenses: overpriced in-flight food and a costly baggage fee on my return trip. The entire process felt more like a profit-maximizing scheme than a customer service experience. I understand that airlines, like any business, need to remain financially viable. However, creating fare structures that penalize customers during emergencies, while simultaneously overbooking flights, comes across as deeply unfair. It’s hard to feel like a valued passenger in this environment. While I don’t expect much will come of this message, I do hope Air Canada takes this feedback seriously. There’s an opportunity to lead with integrity in an industry where choices for consumers are becoming more limited and experiences increasingly transactional.

It was what it was. The crew were very supportive of my wife's inability to sit for long (without severe pain). I say the food was excellent because we bought sushi at Bento, pre flite. We did not complete the final leg (YVR to YYJ) as we were able to catch the last ferry to Swartz Bay. Thanks to Air Canada ( crew and network ) for the connections to/from SJO.

Staff was friendly helpful also good timing I rate it a 10 out of 10

I like the friendliness of the crew members. I think the snack could’ve been better instead of a small package of pretzel. I like that they offer me something to drink.

There was nothing wrong with the handling of the flight MUC - YYZ - the crew, from the cockpit down, just did there job, nothing more! What a sharp contrast to the crew, from the gate to the flight itself on the flight YYZ-SJO- you could tell, they liked their job and it showed - nothing extraordinary - the just created a pleasant atmosphere

Very nice Crew! Not much entertainment, but it was only a short flight, so it is okay for this flight.

Efficient board despite a 100% sold out flight. It’s crowded on the plane but crew was working hard to get us off the ground on time and served dinner and breakfast. Food was good.

Legitimately everything about this flight was awful, was also so delayed I never want to use air Canada again

Bad experience with Air Canada. Our first outbound flight was cancelled due to weather, but the airline rebooked us 2 full days later and basically told us it was our problem and to go away. Then a further onbound flight was delayed for 12 hours. The airline booked us a hotel, but the hotel was unable to transport all passengers in its shuttles (the airline of course didn’t provide any transportation or taxi vouchers), so we waited hours just to get to our hotel and get checked in. Finally, on the way back we had ANOTHER flight cancellation, and the airline wasn’t able to get us on another flight until late the following afternoon. All told we lost 3 days of our vacation (including nonrefundable hotel booking) and arrived home a day later than scheduled. I will never rely on Air Canada to get me where I’m going again.
